This is a wonderful year for Tuscany. The wine is pure of cherry fruit, with an intense core of flavour. There’s some smoked meats and tobacco and nice earthy nuance. With air you get purple flower notes and it has waves of flavour in the mouth, building to a finish that is fresh and ample of structure. There’s supe balance here and it can be opened now with pleasure or cellar effortlessly for 10 or more years. JH 2022
