The grapes for this old vine Chambolle are purchased from a number of different parcels, including Fouchères, a small amount of Musigny, Gamaires and Fremières. One quarter of the grapes are fermented as whole clusters to produce this wine, with a forward, perfumed red and black berry character on the nose, and a silky, fresh elegance on the palate. A very pretty wine that will continue to improve with age. 93 points. Decanter.
