1988 Savour Club Santenay Grand Clos Rousseau, 1er Cru

Good colour. A bright nose of tilled earth, Autumn leaves, pine needles and freshly grated ginger. The palate is vibrant and minerally, with crisp acidity underpinning savoury flecked red fruits. The finish has the cut of the vintage and is moderate of length. All in all, a good showing. JH 2023
