Dark and inky. Raspberry and blood plum fruits along with ironstone notes and the scent of violets. Good flesh and chew. Real depth and power but also light on its feet. Lovely interplay between sweet and savoury elements. Excellent persistence and a gravelly feel to the tannins. JH 2026
