2024 Domaine Bruno Lorenzon Mercurey 'Les Vignes d’Orge' Rouge

This is a plot next to Chapitre where Bruno’s oldest vines are (75 years of age). It has a lighter soil profile with plenty of limestone and clay. There’s 50% whole bunch here and you get delightful florals. The fruit profile is of the red persuasion and gentle chalky tannins underpin. It is beautifully balanced, detailed and long. JH 2026
