2024 Bruno Lorenzon Mercurey 1er Cru 'Champs Martin' Blanc

A South-West facing, limestone rich vineyard. The Chardonnay from here always has a touch of the exotic and such is the case here. There are notes of fennel, mango, pineapple and rhubarb. It has serious depth and chew. It oozes saline minerality and is powerful but light on its feet. Completely peaceful but strong, is how Bruno describes it. JH 2026
