The vineyard was planted 1902 and officially the oldest vineyard in Burgundy, according to winemaker Grégory Patriat. This is a full and fleshy wine, with a deep core of red and black fruits. It builds through the palate and has earthy savoury tones. The finale is expansive, spicy and long. Great balance and so much complexity and material here for a red Burgundy of this price. JH 2025
