Outstanding. A discreet application of wood sets off slightly riper though still agreeably fresh aromas that are compositionally similar to those of the straight Mâcon-Verzé. There is again good volume to the generously proportioned medium weight flavors that also possess an appealing texture before terminating a lightly stony, bracingly dry and balanced finale that it just a bit firmer. Fine quality for what this is and worth a look. Burghound.
