As is almost always the case at this stage in its élevage, the nose is quite firmly reduced and revealing essentially nothing. Otherwise, the finer, if not quite as concentrated, middle weight flavors also possess a seductive texture along with evident minerality that adds a sense of lift to the citrus, long, complex and well-balanced finale. The Montmains is consistently Tribut's best wine and it appears to be so yet again in 2023. If you can find it, it's definitely worth checking out. 91-93 points. Burghound.
