A very pretty nose of cherry and berry with a light undercurrent of freshly tilled earth. The fruit flavours wash around the palate, playing upon a gentley chalky base. It is mid-weight red Burg, nicely proportioned and balanced and with a calm flex of sinewy muscle right at the tail. JH 2025
