Tasted as a barrel sample, I Iove the aromatics of the 2023 Barbera D’Alba Carra, which has more lift and wonderful fragrant energy, with notes of wild berries, fresh blackberries, violets, fresh alpine herbs, and pine. It offers great freshness and a chalky texture, with snappy lift, more crunchy fruit, and a crisp, vibrant, mouthwatering feel. I love where these 2023s are going. 90-93 points. Jeb Dunnuck.
