A deep purple colour. Dense Barbera, with blood plum and blackberry fruits. It has purple flower notes and some earth too. It is ripe, fleshy and delicious. Layered with flavour and underpinned by gravelly tannins and fresh acidity. It is beautifully balanced and long. JH 2024
