The 2022 Côte de Nuits Villages Vaucrain has a lucid ruby hue. Quite a "punchy" nose with forthright redcurrant and cranberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with juicy red fruit, rounded in texture with a smooth finish. I liked the 2021 last year…I like this too, and it undoubtedly will cost you less than, say, a bottle of Leroy. (Drink between 2024-2030).89-89 points. Neal Martin, Vinous.
