From a vineyard planted in the 1950s in light pass. Steve’s uncle, Tony Kurtz, managed the vineyard from the early 1980s, and passed away in 2019. Dark fruits and ironstone and quite punchy on the nose. Good presence and grip. A strand of licorice weaves through the flavour profile. Plenty of chew and drive. Very long. JH 2026
