Sourced off the Sand Road Vineyard in McLaren Vale, it was raised in older French oak to let the fruit shine. A vivid purple colour. Delicious blood plum fruits with a tart cranberry edge. Nice flesh and some light florals and stony mineral things. Packs a flavour punch but is light on its feet, gliding across the palate. The finish is crisp, savoury and persistent. JH 2025
