From a parcel of sandy soils just south of Pignan and Rayas, the 2022 Châteauneuf Du Pape is 100% Grenache that was not destemmed and was brought up mostly in larger format oak. Beautiful red fruits, loamy earth, spice, and dried flower notes all define the aromatics, and it's medium-bodied, with a pure, layered, elegant mouthfeel and fine tannins. 93 points. Jeb Dunnuck.
