Comes off a plot around 200 meters outside the North-West boundary of Chateauneuf. It is 90% Grenache, 100% whole bunch and the 2022 is 100% sensational. There’s the richness and perfume of the vintage and wonderful acid drive of the producer. Perfectly ripe berry fruits mix it up with some earth and spice. It plays in that perfect space between savoury and sweet fruit and is a superb food wine that will age for at least a decade. JH 2025
