The 2022 Alois Caulino Falanghina is a ripper. It has delicious citrus and rockmelon fruits and a hint of ginger. It is textural and oozes saline minerality. The finish is dry and so refreshing. Antonio Galloni’s Vinous site runs a wine of the week called Vinous Favourites. This wine was the selection a few weeks back, and the wine was described as ‘a total pleasure to taste’. The winery has been inundated with orders. This is one of Campania’s best value dry whites and we were able to secure the last available bottles direct from the winery. JH 2024
