Delicious berry/cherry fruits with some dark chocolate, ironstone and earthy notes too. It has a creaminess through the mid-palate and gravelly tannins carry the long finish, contributing some chew. Light florals come to the fore with air. There's a lot of flavour here and it is nicely balanced. Under its DIAM seal it is as fresh as a daisy and should age very well for another decade. JH 2025
