This is pretty and red fruited, plenty of strawberry and spice, peanut shells, mint and aniseed. It’s medium-bodied, quite some almost peachy flavour, with a crisp attack of acidity, a walnutty feel to tannin, lots of dry crunch and minty perfume, kind of dusty in feel, with orange and red fruits on a finish of dry husky and sandy impact and good length.92+ points, Gary Walsh.
