2021 Jean Fournier Marsannay 'Clos du Roy' MAGNUM

Immediately expressive, with a fine and complex nose of aniseed spice, dried flowers, strawberry, cherry and earth. It has a sweet and creamy core and subtle earthy/ savoury nuance. It has good volume, perfectly ripe tannins and a fine line of minerally acidity. It is fleshy enough to enjoy now with real pleasure, but has the requisite depth of material to age extremely well.  JH 2023
