2021 Jean-Claude Boisset, Grand Cru Clos de la Roche

Meaty, orange-peel nose with lots of edge and energy. Like essence of Morey. Really exciting but with a flourish rather than concentration. Great balance and refinement as well as depth. So well done! Oddly appealing already but certainly not simple.  JH 2023
