This absolutely over-delivers and it is little wonder as it is made up of declassified Auxey-Duresses 1er Cru 'Les Bretterins' Rouge. It has a striking nose of rose petals and red fruits. The palate is silky and layered and there's subtle earthy nuance. The finish has cut and a gentle flex of muscle and really expands, leaving a touch of aniseed spice right at the end. Delightful!
