2021 Domaine Francois Carillon 1er Cru Puligny-Montrachet Champs Gains

 A cool, pure, airy and appealingly layered nose displays aromas of mostly acacia blossom and lemon-lime, along with a background hint of crushed fennel. There is excellent energy and a gorgeous texture to the medium weight flavors that flash plenty of minerality on the balanced, nicely dry and sneaky long finish that would also benefit from developing better depth. 90-93 points.
