75% whole bunch vinification, aged in eleven new barrels out of sixteen. The deepest colour in the range, a solid dark purple. The bouquet is very powerful, plenty of oak but with a strong deep fruit underlining it. This is very full indeed yet again, without quite the snap of precision. The oak is properly integrated at the back of the palate. Good length but the fruit does not swarm all over the finish as it can do. Even so, there is a great deal in reserve here.
