Simply perfect. A Syrah and Grenache blend from the Southern Rhone, it had raspberry and red currant fruits with some blood plum thrown in for good measure. It is mid-weight, nicely balanced and shows some purple flower notes with air. There's a finish that is savoury and clean and bright and it is one of those delicious wines that satisfies without effort. JH 2023
