2020 Thibault Liger-Belair Corton Renards Grand Cru

40% whole bunch. An inky dark colour, very powerful, absolutely lovely. Dense black fruit on the palate too, fortunately refreshing enough, a fine texture but especially a great balance between red and black fruit. Plenty to play with here. Lovely aroma in the bottom of the glass, even floral. This Corton Renardes has tiptoed along the line between optimum and maximum ripeness, and will deliver something rather special. Jasper Morris.
