Syrah, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Castelão. Cherry, dark chocolate, a fair bit of spice, a smattering of dried herb. It’s a little over medium-bodied, but quite fleshy with some chewy tannin grip, red and black fruits, and a pleasing gustatory bitterness on a finish of good length. Quite ferrous. It’s an interesting wine, not least for its point of difference. I like it quite a bit. 90 points. The Wine Front.
