Older vine Barbera raised in wood for 20 months, 50% large, 50% barrique, of which half was new. Spiced plum and black cherry on the nose and in the mouth. It is creamy and layered, elegant with lovely fruit. Length of flavour is good and carried by bright acidity. JH 2022
