2020 Domaine Pavelot Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru 'Aux Guettes'

The 2020 Savigny-lès-Beaune Aux Guettes 1er Cru has a taut and crisp bouquet with black cherries, touches of menthol and violet, opulent yet showing more delineation than some of Pavelot’s other cuvées. The palate is medium-bodied with saturated tannins counterbalanced by a fine bead of acidity, lightly spiced with a cohesive finish. Very fine. 91-93 points.  JH 2022
