2020 Domaine Michel Rebourgeon Pommard 1er Cru 'Les Rugiens'

This has such a deep, saturated colour. It is loaded with dark cherry and blackberry fruits. There’s some iron and soot. It is super-rich and a real powerhouse, but there are elements of floral beauty. Balance is superb and the finish oh so long and energetic. JH 2022
