2020 Domaine Marc Roy Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes

The fruit that came into the Domaine was so deep and intense says Alexandrine Roy. She was careful to extract gently and the resultant wine is magnificent. It is all about perfume, with an intoxicating nose of pomegranate, cherry and spice. It has flesh and depth, with layers of flavour and superb balance. The finish is long and expansive. JH 2022
