2020 Domaine Jean Fournier Aligote 'Aux Boutieres'

Comes from vines planted in the 1920s located in Savigny-lès-Beaune, close to Pernand-Vergelesses. Paler lemon, with some reduction. Very interesting complexity of bouquet, a full range of fruits here. Very succulent, plums too but more in ripe citrus mode, with white fruit behind. Good acidity and special length. Not quite in place yet but extremely promising, potentially the longest lived of the three and will be the most exciting at optimum maturity. 5 Stars. Jasper Morris M.W.
