2020 Domaine Fourrier Vougeot Les Petits Vougeot

Glowing medium deep purple. A lovely nose, the quintessence of Chambolle even if the vines are in Vougeot. Ripe, yes, but wonderfully lifted, not too perfumed. Fabulous density here really swells across the palate, just a light stem tingle to finish, and a wonderfully fresh but succulent pure red fruit finish. 93-95 points. Jasper Morris M.W.
