Excellent blackberry and black-cherry fruit, the balance of ripe fruit, fine tannins and lively acidity resulting in harmony that’s so attractive, the finish so refreshing. Roughly two-thirds of this cuvee comes from vineyards close to the border with Vosne-Romanee, the rest from slightly further south. Drink or hold. 94 points, James Suckling.
