A beautifully layered nose combines notes of Asian-style tea, crushed herb, rose petal and a mix of red and dark pinot fruit. There is excellent volume and mid-palate concentration to the larger-scaled flavors that are blessed with an abundance of dry extract that coats the palate on the dusty and moderately austere finish where the only nit is soupçon of warmth. This is a very good Ech. 92-94 points. Burghound.
