Here is a fine & somewhat understated wine, which is nice to see. Strawberry & raspberry , sage & mint, quite some perfume here too along with some spice & brick dust earthiness. Its medium bodied , ind of earthy and a little saline , fresh and while not delicate , does has something of a burgundy feel about it. The tannin is all pumice stone & the finish pulls savoury and dried herbal , with no shortage of length , flickers of mint / aniseed and white pepper trailing in the aftertaste.
