2019 Stonegarden Wines Shiraz

What a wonderful core of blackcurrant and raspberry fruits. There's a whiff of menthol and some smoked meats along with engaging florals. It is a rich and powerful wine but carries no excess weight. The finish is vibrant, has saline minerality and drives on and on. These vines were planted in 1858 and the 1940s.  JH 2023
