A beautifully crafted wine that retains the character and feel of the indigenous variety from with which it is made. It has notes of smoked meats, dark fruits and a grind of black pepper. There's creaminess to the mid-palate and light florals come to the fore with air. Tannins are perfectly ripe and the finish has hint of iron and a fresh uptick of minerally acidity. JH 2022
