2019 Domaine Dominique Gallois Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru

Complex aromatics of pomegranate, raspberry, cherry and violets. It is supple, open-knit and fleshy, with minerally detail just below the surface. There's a touch of meat and earth and it has real presence and authority, coupled with a high degree of elegance. Balance is excellent.  JH 2023
