2019 Domaine des Baumard Savennieres Clos St Yves

From slate and limestone soils on south-facing slopes overlooking the Loire, this aromatic wine delivers notes of straw, honeysuckle, sweet winter blossom and a touch of lime zest. Mineral and lightly bitter palate, with juicy, sweet citrus acidity and a dry but mouthwatering finish. Very fresh, silkily textured with a rounded mouthfeel. Lovely.
