2018 Domaine des Baumard Savennières Clos de Saint Yves, 375ml

From a monopole vineyard belonging to Clos de Saint Yves, on a blend of schist, sand and sandstone. Understated yet intense. Pure green apple fruit with white flowers on the nose. It is unctuous and direct, with cool, saline mineral notes lurking. Beautifully balanced and so much stony drive to the long finish. JH 2023
