2018 Castell’in Villa Chianti Classico

The 2018 Chianti Classico is a joyous wine that offers plenty of house signatures in a style that is quite classic (as opposed to the extroverted 2017). This can also be enjoyed right out of the gate, unlike the more serious 2016. Leather, tobacco, cedar and a good bit of Castelnuovo Berardenga savoriness/earthiness run through this super-classic, mid-weight Chianti Classico. (Drink between 2023-2033).
