This is proper Chianti. 100% Sangiovese and 100% delicious!. It is immediately expressive, with a core of cherry and cassis fruit and a touch of tobacco and wild mint. As it breathes there's some cedar and other savoury traits. It is a bright wine of good balance and finishes with energy and just a gentle flex of tannin. JH
