2017 Rene Rostaing Côte-Rôtie 'Côte Blonde' Magnum

Immediately expressive, with raspberry and blood plum fruits, loads of floral spice and a hint of menthol. It is full and luscious in the mouth, with good depth and a velvety feel. There's a meaty/savoury edge to the wine and perfectly ripe tannins carry the long finish. JH 2021
