An entirely south-facing cru that sits at 340 metres, vinification is the same as the Barolo ‘Serralunga’. These are the oldest vines that Luigi Pira works with at 60 years, this historic cru has produced a wine that is deeper and more persistent with more complexity and mineral nuance while at the same time, 18 moves away from firm structure and is elegant. Described by Giampaolo and Tiziana as Elegant and the cru that is a bit more feminine and fine with denser tannins that are small and silky. JH 2022
