Deeply pitched, dark and compact. There's plenty of savoury elements to this wine and a core of black cherry. It has a whiff of smoked meats and loads of earth. It has the vintage's perfect acid balance and plenty of chew from ample tannins. Needs a long sleep in the cellar but should develop into something very good. JH 2020
