Expressive nose of black cherry, purple flowers and bitter chocolate. It is deeply pitched, with good flesh and ample chalky structure. There's power here but it also has elements of beauty and grace. The '16 exquisite balance allows you to take a peek now but it is built for more cellar time. JH 2021
