2013 Ellena Giuseppe Barolo 'Ascheri' RISERVA MAGNUM

Complex and savoury, with notes of tar, dark fruits, bitter chocolate and balsamic. It has a core of sweet fruit and plenty of earthy nuance. There's some underlying iron and muscle from sinewy tannin. Length is good. JH 2022
