2011 Ca' Rome' Barolo Cerretta

In a good place. The nose is smoky/tarry with some blood plum and cherry. As you draw air into the wine you get decaying rose notes too. There's vinous sweetness and earthy nuance and tannins that are chalky and supportive. JH 2021
